Is there THC in CBD?

Good question! The answer to this could make the difference between someone passing and failing a drug test for work or experiencing undesired effects. We have all seen countless reports of products containing too much THC or no CBD, and a whole host of variables in between. If you purchase a ‘Full Spectrum’ oil in the UK then this indicates it has all the cannabinoids still present in the oil (or whatever is left over following the extraction process). A full spectrum product will contain THC and in the UK this needs to be less than 0.2% of the total concentration. If a product has over 0.2% and is for sale in the UK then it is a non compliant product and should be removed from sale. If the CBD product is an isolate then it should contain 0% THC. The law in the USA is slightly different as their products can contain up to 0.3% THC. This is an important factor to consider for those shipping in products from the US.
